Girlfriend's son saved his hard earned money from his part time job to get his first AR-15. When the time came to order the kit, we scoured the internet to find the best deal on an entry level build kit. I am sure glad we stumbled across Geaux Armory! Kit is complete and was shipped promptly. It really exceeded our expectations. Other kits we found in this price range were super basic. This one will not be confused with those. It is special!
Incidentally, I placed a separate order for accessories after placing the order for this kit. The nice folks there combined the orders and refunded the shipping on the separate order. I didn't have to ask them to do it. They just did it because it's the right thing to do for their customer.
I would do business again and recommend Geaux Armory to my friends.

This kit was assembled by my son on a Tennessee Arms polymer lower. It sports a Nikon 3-9X40 BDC 600 scope. After polishing the mil spec trigger and dropping in a JP Enterprises 4.5 lb trigger spring kit, this thing is dead on. It shot a 1" 5 round group from a trash can rest at 200 yards. If your rifle is shooting 1/2 MOA, you are both doing your job. Great equipment for a great price.

Great Kit
Built my first AR using this kit last weekend. Went together perfectly and my rifle looks great. Shipping was also quick, which was appreciated. No range time yet, but that will be fixed soon.

First Rifle
My first ever rifle and I love it, though I had a few minor problems with it. First problem was that the forward mounting lug on the upper wasn't milled properly. It would bind when levered open. Had to take a dremel to it so it would swing open. The second problem had to do with the trigger spring not being strong enough. It would cause a failure to fire approximately 10% of the time. The hammer wasn't striking the firing pin hard enough. Had to change the trigger spring out for a stiffer one. Since then, the rifle has been firing perfectly.

Customer Forever!
I just finished a new build using the BCA Bear Creek Armory “Bear Claw” Rifle Kit from Geaux Armory in Louisiana.
Kyle and his wife made this purchase a no brainer! Very fast and easy build. I used an Anderson Stripped Lower.
The kit comes as follows 18" Stainless HBAR Midlength with 1:8 twist rate. Dual Color Twist Fluted Barrel, 13" Keymod
handguard with full flat top picatinny rail, Milspec 6 position stock, Toolcraft BCG and Bolt. Chambered in .223 Wylde which is good for .223 or 556 NATO. Lower Parts kit from Anderson. After testing I found that the Anderson lower Parts kit left a bad taste in my mouth and ordered/installed a Jame Madison Tactical drop in trigger (VERY GOOD 4# single stage) for additional $94. I am shooting sub MOA 100 Yard Groups consistently with Wolf Steel .223 ammo. Gun eats anything I have fed it from Caviar Brass to nasty steel TulAmmo. Never 1 single FTF or FTE or Double Feed. Never had a magazine issue even using Magpul 30’s or USGI Copies from Korea. Go to http://www.geauxarmory.com and search in rifle kits for .223 Bear Claw. Will be posting a few pics. Tell him David Gordy Sent you. You will not have an issue with Geaux Armory!

Long term review
So I'm pretty sure I originated this kit, as I special ordered this setup before it was live on the sight. I've now owned it for about 3 years or so, and have roughly 2000 rounds through this build. I built it as a DMR setup on an Anderson lower with the Rogers Super Stock, put on a nice 3-9x40 scope in a Burris PEPR mount and Burris FastFire III on top, added a Harris bipod, and swapped out the standard flash hider for a Seekins brake. Originally I was extremely impressed with the quality vs. cost factor, and with the few tweaks I've made, this is now my favorite rifle in the safe. This gun has put down several hogs, quite a few deer, a few rabbits, and a coyote at full trot at around 300 yds. I even used this rifle to pop a binary target for the gender reveal of my first child. Between the game this thing has put down and the now sentimental value I have for it, this build has been one of my best purchases I've made to date. You will not find a better setup for the price anywhere else.
